Etchings. Wentworth 57 to 61. Complete suite of four plates under a brown printed illustrated cover (Engraved title-frontispiece / I - The departure / II - In foreign clime / III - The return / IV - The fatted calf). Beautiful proofs on watermarked laid paper, and on vellum for the frontispiece.
Dimensions: about 31 x 37 cm according to the plates [the sheet: 49,3 x 61,5 cm].
We enclose three additional sets, also on laid paper. The proofs are uniformly yellowed with some foxing and/or spotting and surface dusting. One of the covers with some creasing. Smudging of the title-frontispiece on the fourth covers, due to the stacking of copies after printing.
