Skeleton clock in chased and gilded bronze, topped by a pair of birds pecking at each other in a laurel crown. The ring-shaped white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and the movement with wire. The movement is supported by two winged women sitting on either side of an arc. Rectangular base in black marble resting on four gilt bronze feet. Directoire period. Sundial. 47 × 24.5 × 11 cm. A globe and its base are attached.
