At the top left annotated in pencil "Tableaux historiques de la Révolution 1791-1805 - Luxembourg". Former collection: L. BONGARD (purple stamp on reverse, Lugt not described). Party of "convenience" given by the government in honor of the general following the peace treaty of Campo Formio on October 18, 1797. Ceremony accompanied by an orchestra playing Méhul.
