Molded terra cotta with a beautiful dark brown patina.

Some scratches on the gilding of the base.
The naked child lying on a sheet seems to be
with his left hand to test the temperature
of the water coming from an urn. With its
original base in wood carved with a twisted ribbon
twisted and gilded ribbon. This model was a great
success of the sculptor, we know
of the prints with some differences.
