Parisian work, Regency period, around 1720.
Richly carved and gilded wood

Good general condition with small scattered chips of gilding.
Original parquet floor.
Mercury mirror of the period in good condition.
This large model with a curved top, presents two loves sitting at the top of a palmette
palmette and flanked by a winged dragon. The exterior molding is chiseled with small
pikes and a rocaille on a framing redent. At the bottom corners of the arch,
an espagnolette with a bust of foliage next to a broken palmette, from which a garland of
a garland of flowers. In the lower part, the feet are topped by acanthus scrolls, in the center
acanthus, in the center a cartouche of foliage with two doves in beak, and on the
the sides a scroll of foliage and flowers.
