22 Italy / Naples : large bi-annual jar in stanniferous earthenware decorated with a landscape painted in blue monochrome. Coat of arms showing a tower supported by two lions in a cartouche with cut-out leathers. On the reverse, marked "D Turris 1528" (or read 1728?). This inscription probably refers to the coat of arms painted on the front. Period : 18 - 19th century Dim : 44 cm x 30 cm Condition : accident to a handle. Chips and wear. (LL)
