This kachina is considered the mother of all kachinas and as such, it is the first one offered to young girls. Its popularity was affirmed by the first flat kachinas made in the 19th century. Its face is characteristic with its pink features, its eyes and its mouth in crescent, as well as its cheeks enhanced with red pastilles.
