Gilded bronze and brass mantelpiece decorated with porcelain plates with polychrome and gilded decoration of farming instruments in blue frames, comprising: - a clock with a harvest allegory and a Love, with a couple of birds and garlands of flowers. White enamelled dial, with indexes with Roman numerals for the hours and railway and Arabic numerals for the minutes. Signed "C. DETOUCHE, F[ournis]seur de l'Empereur, Paris, Rue St Martin". N° 22912. Mechanical movement with key winding, signed. Suspension Brocot. Trace of signature of the bronzer "MARGUERITE [?]" inside the base. 35 x 65 cm. Some cracks in the cast iron; wear and scratches to the gilding. With a curved base, in the form of a gilded wood and plaster with six feet. Length : 67 cm. Wear, scratches and some cracks. - A pair of six-light candelabra, on three levels, decorated with scrolls, leaves and flowers, with a scavenger child or a little girl with flowers, leaning on fluted shafts, resting on an oval base on scrolled or turned feet. H. : 65.5 cm. 19th century. Fixation and threaded rod of a candelabra to be revised, with the addition of two nuts (turning bouquet and unstable base). Handwritten inscriptions on the reverse of the porcelain plates relating to MARGUERITE [?]. Wear to the gilding, some oxidation.
