Stanislas Lami was a sculptor, son of Alphonse Lami and Marie Bidauld, herself a granddaughter of the landscape painter Jean-Joseph-Xavier Bidauld. Some of his works are preserved in museums, such as the Danish Dog in the Musée d'Orsay.
