A DEHUA WASHER AND WATERDROPPER & A 'LOTUS LEAF' WASHER
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The first a blanc-de-Chine washer and water dropper modeled as a lotus leaf borne on an elegantly curved stalk forming the spout of the water dropper, of lobed form and supported on three short feet, the interior with a small crab. The second modeled in the form of a lotus leaf with incised veins, with several smaller lotus flowers along the rim, covered overall in two shades of green.
Condition: The first with minor firing flaws, a crack to the mouth rim and three restored chips to the lip. The second in good condition with some wear and firing irregularities.
