Jean DESPRES (Souvigny, 1889 - Avallon, 1980)
PAIR OF FLAMBEAUX in silver plated metal. The binnacles take the form of a hammered hemispherical cup resting on a flattened ball knot. Fluted column shaft finished with three rows of pearls and a ring. Large base of circular shape hammered.
Height : 23,3 cm. Diameter : 16,2 cm.

The rows of marbles appear in the work of Després in the 1950s.
