Originally from Marseilles, this student of Maurice Denis lived for many years in China and Indochina where she taught Fine Arts in Hanoi, contributed to the revival of the art of lacquer and traveled throughout Asia. A friend of the Royal family of Laos, she painted large murals in the royal palace and was in charge of decorating the Laos pavilion at the 1931 Colonial Exhibition. She regularly sent her works to Parisian salons (Salon des artistes français, Salon d'hiver, Salon des décorateurs...). Her modernist work is tinged with inspirationNabiand influenced by Asian aesthetic references to give birth to an intimate and delicate work.
