In this image, I wanted to make Aristophania an ambiguous, ghostly character. A silhouette that we do not know if it is reassuring or disturbing, in this gloomy alley, beaten by the rain. A first enigmatic vision of our heroine, in short, halfway between Mary Poppins and Batman. I also had fun sprinkling the image with signals referring to the era of our story: the typography on the signs and a lot of old posters typical of the Art Nouveau style that I tried to redraw identically. In the distance, we can see the silhouette of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde basilica overlooking Marseille.
