Depicting the stealthy and magical appearance of wild animals in the forest was the major challenge of this album. This plate is a key moment in the story as it plunges the reader into the final act, the resolution of this ecological thriller. It is Pamina's dream. A blue dream. It represents Pamina's connection with the great stags. I treated it as a sequence shot, pictorial and spectral. Facing us, the deer appear majestic and in this panoramic vision, they take us to witness their fragility and their disappearance.
