Based on an English literary classic, Michel Plessix constructs a warm, bucolic, and contemplative world in which we follow the journey of four endearing characters: Mole, Rat, Badger and Toad in the Wild Wood. Michel Plessix's charm lies in his fine, meticulous drawing with an entomologist's attention to detail, as in this undergrowth, which is part of a landscape tradition that goes from Gustave Doré to Edmond François Calvo, his predecessors in the symphonic use of detail.
