CHIRAZ RUG (warp, weft and wool pile), Southwest Persia, ca. 1930-1950 2,18 x 1,78 m The carpet is decorated with a large red octagon crenellated with geometric floral motifs enhanced by a small polychrome central medallion. The whole on a background wine lees with small geometric patterns. A blue border with multicolored geometric decoration is framed by numerous counter-borders.
