Each "canto" includes a title page (except the first one), and a variable number of stanzas (between 47 and 106). Bound in very worn marbled basane, marbled endpapers. The partially detached spine covers an incomplete original spine. Nice condition inside. First edition of this epic poem about the first balloon flights, of extreme rarity (only one copy reported in the Worldcat, in the British Library). The entire poem in 20 songs was first published in 1803 in small in-8 format (by Agnello Nobile).
