[1f.], iii, 243p. (= 233, the pagination jumps from 80 to 91 without missing); 2 folding engraved plates. Bound in contemporary half-basin, spine ribbed and decorated, marbled endpapers and edges; some spotting, beginning of a split at one corner, paper browned as usual, otherwise a good copy. The physicist Tibere Cavallo was a precursor in the study of the ascensional power of hydrogen, by means of experiments on soap bubbles.
