Serge MOUILLE (1922 - 1988)
Floor lamp called "simple" with one light in blackened tubular metal and white lacquered swivelling conical bulb cover on the inside.
H. 164,5 cm
(scratches, oxidations of the black patina on the legs and on the shaft, scratched lampshade, yellowed interior of the lampshade, dirt)
History: the base of our model, with legs ending in tapered points at the front and ball at the back, as well as the V of the fork curving around the central stem, corresponds to that of the first examples made by Serge Mouille in the mid 1950s. He then modified it by placing small pads under the feet and sharpening the rear angle so that it slightly protrudes.
