Turkey, Iznik, Ottoman art, 17th century Round siliceous ceramic dish with polychrome decoration, decorated in the center with interlaced polygons forming a radiating star, surrounded by seven saz palms. Black stylized waves and rocks border. Condition: three large pieces broken at the rim, with traces of old restorations. Many red chips and chips on the rim. Expert L.S. Diameter : 35 cm Edouard Aynard (Lyon, 1837-Paris, 1913), then by direct descent from his son Francisque Aynard.
