Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae. Blade signed Senjyu minamoto morikuni zo non and rated Jyo-Jyo saku of highly superior workmanship. The blade has been polished by a master. Habaki: double gold plated. Blade length: 70 cm, Sori: 0,8 cm, width of halachi: 3,13 cm, width of Kissaki: 1,9 cm. Edo period, Kanbun era (1661-1673). The blade is wide and thick with a slight sori (curvature) and a regular Kissaki specific to the Kanbun era. Jigane : Koitame hada very well grained. Homon (temper line): Nie Deki gunome Midare and in Ha. Horimono : Buddhist mark on the blade. Koshirae : (scabbard). Saya : Kawari nurri saya. Tsuba : iron mokko style engraved with arabesques. Menuki : Flower engraved in shakudo. Fuchikashira : engraved floral motifs in silver and copper. The blade is of high Masterpiece quality, the Jigane is beautiful with a remarkably bright and clear hamon (temper line). With conservation scabbard. _x000D_
