Commemorative souvenir offered to the wives of the officers of the imperial army of Russia, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the battle of Schipka, during the Russo-Turkish war (1877-1878). Crystal perfume bottle with engraved decoration of floral motifs, decorated on one side with an oval cartouche in chased vermeil and decorated with the emblem of the Romanoffs and on the reverse side with two crossed sabers bearing the inscription "Schipka 1877-1902" under an imperial crown. The stopper is decorated with a rose branch. Preserved in its original green leather case, signed Shipkoff Kazanuk.
Wear of time, but good condition.
