Two bands of orphrey, Italy, 16th century, crimson velvet embroidered with gold candelabra of vine leaves scrolls which show some wear and holes. 142 x 129 cm Provenance : Jean-Joseph Marquet de Vasselot (1871- 1946), curator at the Louvre museum in 1902 then at Cluny in 1926, remained in the descendants.
