On the returned seals. To Monseigneur le Chancelier. Madrigal, January 5, 1656, calligraphy poem (the signature is apocryphal) the day after Mathieu Molé's death, to greet the return of the Seals to Pierre SÉGUIER, auguring a return of fortune for himself and the Arts:
" But you make so much the merit to slave
That whoever will want on the sacred Parnassus
honors and goods has only to wish you some "
Anecdote (in his cursive handwriting) about a woman who, tired of her husband, kills him, puts him in a sack which she throws into the sea, and confesses to a cordelier, who, when tortured, confesses in turn and "is condemned to be hanged"
