History : This lithograph was printed at 99 copies on white Rives paper and Japon impérial paper.
Jouve realized only 6 copies on Japon impérial paper, these rare copies being numbered in the print run and moreover annotated artist's proof.
This lithograph is one of the emblematic and major works of Paul JOUVE, it is part of the collections of the greatest museums. The artist took for model the black panther of the zoo of Berlin, in spring 1928.
