Paris, Librairie des Bibliophiles, Jouaust, sd. 2 vol. in-12 half brown morocco, finely decorated smooth spines, gilt fillet on the covers, gilt head, in common case. Portrait of the author in frontispiece (foxing) and 8 figures out of text engraved by Boilvin after de Beaumont. Spine unstained, but otherwise a nice copy of this pleasant edition. - LEBÈGUE (Léon) & FRANCE (Anatole), Les Contes de Jacques Tournebroche. Paris, Calmann Lévy, sd. In-8 green morocco, ribbed spine extending cold on the boards, gilt title, double cold fillet framing the boards, gilt head, cover kept. Color illustrations in and out of the text by L. Lebègue. First edition and first printing. Spine unstained, otherwise a fine copy. - TALLEMANT des REAUX (Gédéon), Les Historiettes. Third edition entirely revised on the original manuscript arranged in a new order and preceded by an unpublished historical and literary notice on the author by MM. de Monmerqué and Paulin Paris. Paris, Techener, 1862. 6 volumes in-12 half dark brown morocco, spines decorated, gilt title and tomaison (period binding). Rare foxing. A fine copy of this 3rd edition, the best and the first revised on the original manuscript giving the complete text without any deletion. (Vicaire, VII, 745). - Journal des demoiselles. 1865-1866 and 1869-1870. 2 vols. in-4 half brown basane, spines threaded. Epidermures and rubbed. 56 plates of fashion engraved out of the text, 39 in color. Small marginal loss to one otherwise very good condition. - ALCOTT (Louisa May) & P.J. STAHL (pseud. of Pierre-Jules HETZEL). The Four Daughters of Doctor Marsch, after L. M. Alcott by P. J. Stahl. Drawings by A. Marie. Paris, Hetzel, Bibliothèque d'éducation et de récréation, sd (1880). In-8 red half-chagrin, spine decorated, gilt tr. (binding of the time). Illustrations in and out of text by Adrien Marie. A few small rubs. Good copy of the first French edition translated and adapted by the writer and editor P.J. Hetzl, after the famous original novel Little Women first published in Boston in 1868.
