First edition of this treatise on indulgences composed by the German theologian E. Amort (1692-1775). The second part of the work deals with heresies, the third is a supplement. The edition is illustrated with a frontispiece, and a portrait of the dedicatee Pope Clement XII, engraved on copper after Johann Christoph Kolb.
