Splendid tribute copy, offered by the president Félix Faure. It is one of the 150 copies on Japanese paper, covered with a high quality binding with the mention "Imprimerie Nationale" on the back cover. A handwritten letter signed, on the letterhead of the Presidency of the Republic, dated January 9, 1899, probably addressed to the addressee of the work, is enclosed. Two menu-cards with the letterhead of the Chasses de Rambouillet, not filled in, are also attached.
