Arabic manuscript on paper, text of 19 lines per page in Maghribi script in black, red, green and blue ink within a frame of three blue and red fillets. Frontispiece page with sarlowh illuminated with a quatrefoil and burgundy-brown and yellow roundels on a khaki green background. Double pagne illuminated with stylized representation of the symbols of Mecca and Medina painted in yellow, maroon and green. Binding with flap and cover in red leather with stamped decoration of blue medallions. Accidents, some pages unbound, wear and restorations (not collated).

The Dala'il al-Khayrat (Signs of Blessings) is the most famous collection of prayers about the Prophet Muhammad, composed by the Moroccan Sufi scholar, Muhammad ibn Sulaiman al-Jazuli (d. 1465). It is a very popular work in the Ottoman Empire and the Maghreb. It is divided into sections for daily prayer.
