Please note that the front disc brake, AP, is not in accordance with the original assembly, as are the " sausage " exhaust pipes. The rims are Morad aluminium.
The TR7 Tiger, produced between 1973 and 1980, is the single carburettor version of the Bonneville 750 cc T140. It is also the wise version of the Bonneville with lower compression ratios and, above all, the one with the best reputation for reliability. With its smooth 51 hp engine and 5-speed gearbox, it is also an excellent tourer.
Mr. B. had taken special care in restoring this interesting Tiger with 5-speed gearbox, with special pistons and camshaft. Brakes, forks, bearings, tyres, rims, etc.: as on the other Triumphs in the collection, everything is new or restored to new. The bike is also equipped with new Hagon shock absorbers, and has the advantage of being matching numbers. The odometer shows 2,153 km, and it seems that this is the mileage of the bike since its full restoration. This is a very interesting ‘evolved’ Bonneville to ride.
