At the end of the 1930s, the respectable Triumph company presented a new motorbike, as beautiful as it was efficient, the 500 Speed Twin, which stood out because of its twin-cylinder engine facing the road, whereas the twin-cylinder motorbikes of the time had a longitudinal engine. It was such a success that other British manufacturers soon adopted this design. After the war, the bike evolved to 650cc and the twin-carburettor Sport version adopted the Bonneville name following a speed record on the famous American salt lake. The most beautiful - and reliable! - Bonneville T120s, which ceased production in 1973, were those of the 1968-1970 period, before the oil tank was incorporated into the frame. This Bonneville was bought by Mr B. in the 1980s, and underwent a thorough restoration around 2010. The presentation is perfect, and the bike has benefited from all the period improvements/ preparations: primary belt drive, 5-speed gearbox, Morgo 750cc kit... This is the perfect Bonneville!
