Involved in all motorbike disciplines since the early 1960s, the company was really traumatised by the death of its champion Santiago Herrero and then on devoted itself to off-road, especially trials, with its rider Mick Andrews, world champion of the discipline in 1971 and 1972. Ossa also made a name for itself in motocross and enduro, mainly in small and medium-sized bikes: 125, 175 and 250 cc. With the end of Franco’s regime and the opening of the Spanish market, the factory declined, and its association with Bultaco could do nothing about it, the brand stopped in 1982, before rising from its ashes in 2010. The 250 enduro model in Mr B’s collection is presented in a beautiful original condition, and in good working order. An ideal bike for a country house, or for riding vintage enduro.</p>
