PONGE Francis. La Fenêtre. Paris, 1952; 1953; reunion of two autograph manuscript versions. 1. 44] leaf spiral notebook written only on the front, title in large calligraphic letters on the brick tone cover; 2. [32] large in-4 leaves in sheets. The first version in black ink in large writing offers a reduced text compared to the second version. The second, very developed, is at the same time the model of the publisher John Devoluy of Paris at which will appear the book in 1955 with 2 engravings of Pierre Charbonnier. On the first page of the primitive version Francis Ponge wrote: "Maquette abandoned thereafter, dating from 1952".
