Marcel COARD (1889-1974)
Blackened wood armchair with straight back and slightly flared solid arms, entirely covered with black leather and decorated with a pink velvet trim. Corner legs with four curved feet in front, and saber in the back (small chips, wear).

Provenance : former collection of Jeanne Tachard, coming from the Parisian apartment of the street Émile Menier in Paris (XVIth), whose first floor was decorated by Pierre Legrain between 1920 and 1921 and that the milliner will live until her death in 1963. It has remained in the family ever since.
