FRENCH-CHINESE WORK Pair of red lacquered pedestal tables with two quadrangular tops, the upper one engraved with bamboo canes and a cartouche in the Chinese style. Legs with four molded legs (wear, scratches and small chips). Removable upper tray in white glass slab. Height 75 cm - Length 46 cm - Depth 46 cm Expert : Mrs Amélie Marcilhac Provenance : former collection of Jeanne Tachard, coming from the dining room of the Parisian apartment of the street Emile Menier in Paris (XVIth), whose first floor was decorated by Pierre Legrain between 1920 and 1921 and that the fashion designer will live until her death in 1963. It has remained in the family ever since.
