The crowds of Lourdes. Complete manuscript of this testimony on the pilgrimage to Lourdes and the devotion, doubled of a critical comment on one of the cases of mysterious healings romanticized in Lourdes by Emile ZOLA. Together of 150 pages in-4 and 2 in-8 under folder and case half morocco with white bands, smooth back, gold lettering, case signed Faki. Joined a handwritten note from André Damien announcing that there are two variants of this text published by Stock in 1906. This one is one of them. The entire text is very close to the final version, except for the preface which is absent, with some alterations of form more than substance in the whole: numerous erasures and alterations in the margins, indentations. Chapters 11 and 12 nevertheless include 11 pages that do not appear in the final edition, noting that 3 of them comment directly on the positions taken by Zola in his Lourdes.
