[Passez Muscade] and promises the requested article on "the recalcitrant decapitated man. For the moment he has little free time, being very busy with visits to the Museum of Arts and Crafts, "to which I recently donated Robert HOUDIN's automatons, and the L. XV pedal table. I am obliged to clean all this, and to put back the heads, hands, costumes, paintings and gilding in good condition. There is quite a lot of work, because all this material remained 5 years in a rather wet place, and it suffered from it. But once it has been restored, it will no longer look like it, and it will be able to face eternity in the Museum's showcases"... He sends his congratulations to the Lyonnais he met at the banquet, for their virtuosity and their "excellent stage presence", and speaks about Édouard HERRIOT, who came to the banquet of the Chambre syndicale du Cinéma. "He had promised me the famous red ribbon, at the request of Brézillon. But it is my luck, he had just lost his place as minister [...]. He was charming with me, apologized for having been forced to "unload" himself", and promised his support to the new Minister of Public Instruction... He also mentions the possibility of a position on the staff of the Mutuelle du Cinéma, or as director of a retirement home. "Needless to say, this would do me a lot of good, freeing me from my dreadful Montparnasse prison...
