TIS is a contemporary artist born and based in the former Yugoslavia, impregnated with pop culture, the artist creates a multicolored universe. With a global and colorful vision, he likes to explore different techniques. Painter, designer, photographer and sculptor, his creativity is limitless. With "peace of art collection" he gives new life to military equipment that once reflected the power of a state that has now disappeared. Found on military dumps, helmets, ammunition, missiles, forget the past embarrassment, the tragedy, and explore a new life far from the diktats of the art world but so close to our happy memories. Overcycling, which consists in creating a superior object from an object that is no longer used, plays a symbolic role of rebirth here. Old military equipment feeds sensitivity to war crimes, changing a symbol into something opposite, while leaving it in its original form. Helmets now have a new role: to make us feel young again.
