[Manuscript]. LEMARIÉ (Ernest). Ermenonville. History and description. [1889]. In-8, [32] f., pl., paperback, modest kraft paper cover (curls). A neat and very legible manuscript, written in ink on r° and v°, probably in the author's hand. It is illustrated with 4 original off-text photographs pasted on: 1. frontispiece, view of the castle. - 2. the tomb of Rousseau, from an engraving - 3. view of the ruins of the Royal Abbey of Chaalis. - 4. view of a pond. These pictures are a bit faded, especially the last one. The book that the author published in 1897 is attached: Ermenonville ancient and modern. In-16, paperback, printed at 250 copies (n° 11). The whole comes from the collection of Dr. Dautheuil, a doctor in the Oise region, who added some notes, emphasizing in particular that the photographs of the manuscript have remained unpublished according to him. That is to say 2 volumes.
