JACOB (Max). Le Terrain Bouchabal. Paris : Émile-Paul frères, 1921. - In-8, red bradel paper boards, smooth spine, speckled head, untrimmed (contemporary boards). Precious copy of proofs, dated 1921, of this novel by Max Jacob which will not be published in the trade until 1923. Each page is printed on the front only. There are no corrections or additions, except for two autograph words on the dedication page where the author added "poet and". Copy offered by Max Jacob to the writer and essayist Frédéric Lefèvre (1889-1949), enriched with this letter from the author : " to Frédéric Lefèvre // who will have (sic) read the first // most important book // of his friend // Max Jacob " At the bottom of the sheet where this dedication is found, is a note from another hand, indicating in particular the date of March 14, 1921. Good copy .
