First edition of Georges Hugnet's first book, illustrated with two out-of-text lithographs and four full-page compositions by Max Jacob. Edition of 170 copies. This one is one of the 150 on Arches vellum (n° 104), very well preserved despite small reddish marks on the cover. - LE DROIT DE VARECH preceded by Le Muet ou les Secrets de la vie. Paris : Éditions de la Montagne, [1930]. - In-8, paperback, filled cover. First edition. One of 400 copies on Alfa (n° 175). This edition does not include the illustrations by Eugène Berman. A largely uncut copy, very well preserved despite some spotting on the edges.
