FEYDEAU (Georges). On purge bébé! A play in one act. Paris : Librairie théâtrale, artistique & littérature, 1914. - In-18, dark green half-maroquin with corners, gilt filets, spine ribbed, gilt head, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved (binding of the time). First edition of this famous vaudeville by Georges Feydeau, performed for the first time on April 12, 1910 at the Théâtre des Nouveautés. One of the 22 numbered copies on Hollande paper (n° 19), enriched with this autograph letter from the author on the false title, addressed to the playwright Yves Mirande (1876-1957) : " Au cher Gérondif Mirande // mon bon confrère et ami // bien amicalement // GFeydeau " A very well bound copy. The binding, not signed, is later than the edition. Spine faded.
