First edition dedicated to Louis-Alfred Natanson, of this little comedy first performed on August 15, 1895 at the Théâtre de l'Œuvre. No copies were printed on large paper.
This edition is very sought after because the cover is illustrated with a lithograph by Henri de TOULOUSE-LAUTREC.
A very well preserved copy despite some light soiling. First and last leaves browned.
