First edition of this book published in homage to Charles Baudelaire, who died in 1867. It was composed by his friends Charles Cousin, author of the biography, Charles Asselineau, Poulet-Malassis and Spoelberch de Lovenjoul who established the bibliography. It contains mainly letters addressed to the poet, written by Alfred de Vigny, Eugène Delacroix, Victor Hugo, Barbey d'Aurevilly, etc.
One of the few copies printed on laid paper.
