First separate edition, published in November 1843, of this novel which ends the series of "Lost Illusions". It had already appeared in the Furne-Houssiaux collective edition in July 1843, under the title " Eve et David ".
Beautiful copy, washed, in a pastiche binding of the beginning of the 20th century.
