Artificial and mechanical globe for the use of the small geographer, The Hague and Amsterdam F. J. Weygand. About 1830. Small in-8°, 8pp booklet + a double coloured plate with an engraved and hand-coloured globe of six spindles cut out. It is mounted by pulling cords, signed on an applique 'F. J. Weygand, excud. r. Baarsen's Fils. Fec.' The set contained in its green printed cardboard case. Good condition. 19.2 x 12.3cm. Dutch edition of the globe originally published by Augustin Legrand in Paris in 1823.
