Belgian teaching globe composed of 12 coloured spindles and 2 polar caps on steel axis, mounted on a cast iron tripod decorated with bands and foliage. The equatorial is graduated in hours and degrees. The globe shows ocean currents, telegraph lines, European colonies, voyages of discovery and ethnic illustrations of the five races inhabiting the earth. H. 53cm; D. (approx.) 26.5cm.
