COUPE EN ARGENT DORÉ - PARCEL GILT SILVER BOWL Nord-Est de la Chine, Dynastie Liao, Xe siècle - Northeast China, Liao Dynasty, 10th century Argent avec dorure sur certains motifs - Silver with partial gilding, 20 x 9 cm La coupe polylobée reprend le motif des cinq pétales, sur lequel le motif de deux oiseaux affrontés parmi les motifs floraux est doré, le pied est ourlé d'une bande de feuillage. Footed bowl in the form of a five lobed flower. Each lobe is designed with a confronted pair of birds grasping a floral garland, in turn surrounded by floral roundels, a popular motif during the Tang and Liao Dynasties.
