Serial number ZAM332B00JB207690 106 000 km Good condition French registration When De Tomaso bought the Maserati brand from Citroën in 1975. He developed the famous Bi-Turbo presented in Modena on 14 December 1981. This brand new V6 engine had two camshafts per cylinder bank, two turbochargers as its name suggests and three valves per cylinder. Its 2,000 cm3 capacity was dictated by Italian tax law, which overtaxed larger capacities, but for export it was increased to 2,500 cm3 and then to 2,790 cm3 for the Maserati 430. Professional in the art of making beautiful and fast saloons, Maserati took up the challenge in 1988 and presented its 430 model, which was quite close to the 425 stylistically. It’s true that it’s difficult to tell the difference between the Maserati models of the 1980s, but this new car has the twin-turbo V6 engine, which has undergone a major re-boring and now develops 250 horsepower. The 430 has everything to please but will keep the bad image of the «bi-turbo» saga at Maserati: a puncture_x0002_proof and sporty engine, characteristic 80’s lines, comfort and luxury. Our example, which left the factory in 1989, is in a very good mechanical and aesthetic condition, mechanically revised, its current owner has always enjoyed taking it out on the country roads and has taken particular care of it. Its original mileage is only 106,000 km, which is becoming increasingly rare on these cars with their impressive reliability (for a Maserati). Today the 430 is a car to be rediscovered and collected as a matter of urgency before its value starts to rise. This example is a good entry ticket
