Launched with great fanfare in 1971, the Rolls Royce Corniche is in fact the evolution of the rare Silver Shadow convertible which was developed in alliance with the London coachbuilder H.J Mulliner Park Ward. Absolute elegance, this new model is surely one of the first Rolls Royces where one prefers to drive than to be driven: its royal comfort, its ease of manoeuvring and the richness of its equipment will make it the darling of celebrities all over the world until the end of the 1990s. Crew's target market was primarily the US market and a slightly restyled US version was introduced in 1974 with US safety features.
The model we present to you is part of this series. It is American in origin and has a white paint job that contrasts with the navy blue top; perfect for making you think you're on a real rolling yacht. Not having been driven for a few months, a mechanical revision will be necessary but overall the car is in a correct condition and some minor work will be necessary to bring it back to its former glory.
